Contests/Games

 

Alright guys, here goes. In order to promote people to get active and stay active with us at Hawthorne Academy, I thought that I'd start up some contests! There are going to be two different overarching categories for these contests: In Character contests and Out of Character contests.

 

Some examples of IC contests include:

• Prom King/Queen

• Homecoming King/Queen

• Best Dressed

• Most Athletic

• Most Likely to Succeed

• Cutest Couple

• Best Musician

• Best Band (Battle of the Bands, yay!)

• Best Artist

• Truth or Dare

 

These sorts of contest I will sort of figure out as I go, but many of them will come down to you guys nominating and voting for which character(s) you think deserve to win! Some of these may take place parcially IC, however, I may figure out different methods of executing games and contests down the road.

 

 

Some examples of OoC Contests include:

• Most Active

• Most helpful

• Most improved writer

• Most creative characters

• Banner contests

• Picture contests

• Scavenger Hunts

 

These games are a little more interactive and personalized and happen completely OoC. These contests reflect on you guys and your dedication and participation to this little community we've created. I'm still trying to figure out what sort of prizes we could possibly come up with, but bragging rights are a good place to start!
